ABOUT US

Jodie Hawker

Training Director

Jodie is a passionate animal advocate and has been heavily involved with local and international Dog Rescue organizations for the past ten years. Her experience in facilitating spay and neuter clinics overseas and with local rescues (including rehabilitation and rehoming) has given her tremendous exposure and expertise in managing many different temperaments in both domesticated family pets, and feral street dogs across all breeds big and small.

Jodie is a continuous learning partner with Canine Correspondence Studies and avidly pursues ongoing continuing education and professional development. Through her force-free training methods and positive reinforcement, she drives effective and collaborative solutions for her clients.

Throughout a decade of work in the international rescue community, Jodie made the decision to transition from her hospitality management position to full time canine services. Her past experience includes structured dog walking, organized puppy socialization sessions, group training, and facilitating remote training for those who do not have access to local support.

Jodie has fulfilled her life long dream of dedicating herself full-time to helping owners and dogs live in harmony.

Jodie is a local area resident, based in Meaford, ON, where she lives with her husband, their two mix-breed rescue dogs and a cat.

We are located in Meaford, Ontario. We provide group classes at Georgian Triangle Humane Society & Canadian Pet Connection. We also provide private sessions in the convenience of your home. Dog walking is available for Meaford and surrounding areas.
